After a well-received debut last year, Christ Our Hope has partnered again with Wolverine Farm Letterpress and Publick House for our second annual “Beer & Hymns” public outreach hymn-sing. Event takes place in the upstairs event hall* at Wolverine Farms Publick House on November 2nd from 7-9! Song booklets will be provided. The Publick House also serves coffee and tea if desired. As the weather gets colder, let’s gather indoors in the warmth of good company and boisterous singing!

Beer and Hymns has been done elsewhere in the country (and world) by many different churches, each in their own unique way. The event exists first and foremost to bring people of all walks together to experience authentic community and fellowship while raising voices - and glasses - in old time hymns (and maybe also some well-worn folk songs). Current church-goers, those who knew these hymns from a bygone era and haven't sung them in a while, or those who just appreciate the communal aspect of joining voices with others with little to no instrumental accompaniment may all be found at a Beer & Hymns. Bring a friend or three and let's sing!
